We are assembling a founding leadership team at Chick-fil-A West Garrisonville — and we are looking for an experienced, execution-driven Kitchen Manager who is ready to help build a culture of excellence from the inside out. The Opportunity

As our Back of House Kitchen Manager, you will own the heart of our operation — food safety, quality, accuracy, and kitchen efficiency. You will lead and develop our kitchen team, build and protect our systems, and ensure every item that leaves our kitchen meets the standard our guests deserve. You will work closely with the Owner/Operator and senior leadership team, playing a key role in translating our vision into daily execution.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You will be in the kitchen, on the line, coaching in the moment and holding the standard with both urgency and care.

What You'll Do

• Lead \hands-on\ back of house operations including food preparation, kitchen execution, food safety, and shift leadership
• Manage and coach kitchen teams of 10 or more to achieve excellence in food safety, quality, accuracy, speed, and cleanliness
• Build and protect kitchen systems that ensure consistent, repeatable execution every shift
• Lead and support opening or closing shifts while ensuring smooth handoffs and team alignment
• Train and develop Team Leaders and Team Members through consistent feedback and intentional coaching
• Monitor food costs, inventory, and waste to support sustainable growth and profitability
• Enforce high standards of food safety, kitchen cleanliness, appearance, and professionalism across your team
• Collaborate with senior leadership to set goals, analyze performance, and celebrate wins
• Represent Chick-fil-A West Garrisonville's values in the restaurant and in the community

What We're Looking For

• Minimum of 2 years of kitchen leadership experience in restaurant, hospitality, or a comparable high-volume food service environment
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (preferred)
• Restaurant or hospitality leadership experience (Chick-fil-A experience strongly preferred)
• Food safety certification or strong working knowledge of food safety standards
• Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
• Strong track record of results in kitchen operations, team leadership, and food quality execution
• Ability to handle high-volume, fast-paced work with a calm and solution-focused mindset
• Natural leader who coaches, holds high standards, and leads by example
• Passion for operational excellence and genuine alignment with Chick-fil-A's values

Position Details

Full-time | 40-45 hours per week | In-person | Closed Sundays
