Editor (Digital-First) Edit for Speed. Optimize for Platform. Deliver at Scale. We’re hiring a Digital-First Editor who understands that modern content lives and dies by pacing, clarity, and platform fluency. This is not a traditional broadcast editing role. It’s a high-velocity, performance-oriented position built for digital ecosystems — including Meta platforms, YouTube, and commerce environments like Amazon. You will be responsible for shaping short-form and long-form digital content optimized for audience behavior, retention patterns, and platform specifications. The ideal candidate thrives inside structured templates, embraces rapid turnaround cycles, and knows how to prioritize impact over polish.
This is a full-time, onsite position at our client located in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
What You’ll Do Execute High-Velocity Editing - Edit short-form and long-form digital content across multiple platforms
- Deliver against daily and weekly output targets without compromising clarity or brand standards
- Maintain consistency across high-volume production workflows
Optimize for Platform Performance - Shape pacing, hooks, storytelling structure, and clarity for digital-first consumption
- Execute within established templates, brand guardrails, and platform specifications
- Apply best practices for Meta-native formats, YouTube retention optimization, and commerce-driven content environments
Collaborate Across Teams - Partner closely with Platform Producers to align on performance goals and output cadence
- Integrate feedback quickly and efficiently within tight timelines
- Contribute to scalable workflows across multi-brand or high-output environments
Lead Efficiency Through AI & Workflow Innovation - Actively utilize AI-assisted editing tools to increase efficiency and throughput
- Improve workflows to support scalable, repeatable content production
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes while maintaining editorial quality
What You Bring - 8–10+ years of experience editing digital-first content
- Strong short-form editing capabilities with an emphasis on speed, clarity, and hook optimization
- Demonstrated success working in high-output, fast-paced production environments
- Deep familiarity with platform-specific editing best practices for Meta, YouTube, and Amazon/commerce ecosystems
- Comfort operating within templates and defined brand systems
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience

Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000

The salary range provided represents the good-faith compensation band we anticipate for this role at the time of posting. Individual compensation within this range will be determined based on a comprehensive evaluation of factors including, but not limited to: relevant education, professional experience, demonstrated competencies, technical expertise, certifications, scope of responsibility, geographic considerations, applicable regulatory requirements, and overall business needs.
