Job Description

Palm Beach Delivers LLC is an independent Delivery Service Partner (DSP) serving Amazon Prime throughout Palm Beach County. We are seeking responsible, hard-working Driver Helpers to assist our Delivery Associates. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, possess a strong work ethic, and be able to work collaboratively with the driver to meet delivery schedules. This would be a zero-driving position, you would be a helper that assists the driver in making deliveries for their route.

Job Description

Duties

• Assist the driver with loading and unloading freight from the vehicle.
• Ensure that all items are secured properly for transport.
• Help navigate routes and provide directions as needed.
• Maintain communication with the driver regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Perform routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.

Qualifications

Skills

• Physically fit candidates must be (at least) 18 years of age
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during deliveries.
• Consent to drug test screening
• eligible to work in the US
• Deliver products and *smiles* to customers in a timely manner
• On the road (OTR) up to 10-hour shifts, delivering to routes w/in a 50 mile radius
• Handle physical work eg. climb in/out van, use of stairs, lift containers w/o issue
• Perform responsibilities during inclement weather conditions
• Be open to assisting in other capacities, as needed
• Follow designated safety protocol and procedures
• Willing to assist co-workers in a supportive way
