Job Description

SBS Creatix is seeking an experienced  Enterprise Project Manager / Project Leader to support the Portfolio Management Office for a contract opportunity based in the St. Louis area. This is a hybrid role in St. Louis, MO, and local candidates are strongly preferred. This role partners closely with business leaders across the company to translate strategic initiatives into actionable project plans and drive execution from initiation through completion.

 

The ideal candidate is a strategic executor who brings structure, clarity, and strong communication to complex initiatives. This individual will lead cross-functional collaboration, manage project roadmaps, and ensure alignment across stakeholders while delivering results in a dynamic, matrixed environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria
• Break down high-level initiatives into structured workstreams, timelines, and deliverables
• Develop and manage detailed project plans and roadmaps
• Identify and engage key stakeholders, ensuring alignment across teams
• Establish and maintain consistent communication cadence, including status updates and reporting
• Lead project meetings, track progress, and drive accountability for deliverables
• Monitor and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies
• Track epics, deliverables, and timelines within project management tools
• Drive execution in partnership with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes
• Work independently to manage multiple priorities with minimal oversight

 

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in project management within a PMO or portfolio management environment
• Strong strategic execution skills with the ability to translate business needs into actionable plans
• Experience working in Agile environments or Agile certification
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage projects end-to-end
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Digital fluency and experience working with project management tools
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, whiteboarding tools)

 

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification or equivalent project management certification
• Change management experience
• Experience working in Agile environments at scale
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira and Clarity
• Experience working with large financial institutions or in regulated environments
