Parseeker Logistics, in partnership with FedEx, is excited to announce a vacancy for a dedicated and responsible FedEx CDL-A Linehaul Driver. This full-time position is designed for individuals who have a passion for on-road logistics and are looking for an opportunity to manage daily home-time schedules. The role focuses on the safe and timely transportation of freight, ensuring that our commitment to efficiency and reliability stands second to none. As this is an onsite position, please note it is not eligible for remote work capabilities.

The FedEx CDL-A Linehaul Driver position offers competitive compensation, ranging from $1,000 to $1,500 per week, and a comprehensive benefits package, including 401k, health insurance, paid time off upon hire, and reimbursement for DOT Medical card expenses. The work schedule is set from Thursday to Monday, spanning from 10PM to 7AM, allowing for consistent weekly routines and home time. This role is crucial in maintaining the strong operational standards FedEx is known for and provides an essential service that keeps the logistics chain moving smoothly.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor-trailer to transport freight between service centers and customer locations.
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations affecting the operation of commercial vehicles.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the safety and the good working condition of the vehicle.
• Keep an accurate log of all hours of service and submit it as required by company and federal regulations.
• Ensure secure loading of the cargo, checking for accuracy and safely arranging cargo for transport.
• Coordinate with the dispatch team to manage schedules and routes in an efficient manner.
• Report any vehicle malfunctions or needed repairs to the management as soon as possible.
• Provide excellent customer service, maintaining professionalism in all communications with the customers.
• Handle unexpected issues like delays or accidents efficiently, following established protocols accurately.
• Participate in safety meetings and adhere to safety policies to minimize the risk on roads.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-year tractor-trailer experience REQUIRED.
• Doubles endorsement REQUIRED (doubles experience NOT required).
• Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A).
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and a background check.
• Experience in using electronic logging devices (ELDs).
• Strong familiarity with DOT regulations regarding the operation and maintenance of large vehicles.
• Excellent navigational and route management skills.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Physically able to lift heavy equipment and spend extended periods driving.
