Forklift Operator

Pay: $17–$19/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time | Overtime Available
Shifts: 1st and 2nd shift openings

Position Summary

Abacus Corporation is currently seeking experienced and dependable Forklift Operators to support operations at a client site in Edwardsville, KS. This role is ideal for safety-minded individuals who thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment and are looking for stable, long-term opportunities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts such as sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, cherry picker or Turret truck
• Load, unload, move, and stage materials within the warehouse
• Accurately handle product using RF scanners or warehouse systems
• Conduct daily forklift inspections and report any equipment issues
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Follow all OSHA, site-specific, and Abacus safety policies
• Assist with additional warehouse or production tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent forklift experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on feet for extended periods
• Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and productivity
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Minium 1 year of Stand-UP exp, will train on all others

Preferred Skills

• Prior certification on forklift equipment
• Experience in distribution or logistics environments
• Comfortable working overtime as needed
