Role: Active Directory Administrator
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Onsite)
Duration: Contract
We are seeking an experienced Active Directory Administrator to provide L3 support for Active Directory environments, including migration, consolidation, monitoring, and security management. The role involves troubleshooting, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring SLA and quality standards are met.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide L3 support for Active Directory migration and daily operations.
Design, plan, and implement AD and Hyper-V environments.
Manage AD migration and consolidation projects.
Monitor systems, handle escalations, and maintain documentation.
Test and implement Microsoft security patches.
Support Windows server upgrades and migration activities.
Coordinate with other teams to resolve incidents and issues.
Strong knowledge of Active Directory concepts (OU structure, group policies, security groups).
Experience with AD migration tools (ADMT, Quest, etc.).
Hands-on experience with Windows Server environments (2000/2003/2008).
Knowledge of Windows Registry, security translation, and reporting tools.
Experience with VMware, backup solutions, patching, and antivirus tools.
Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
Excellent communication and customer handling skills.
Good documentation and MS Office (Visio/MS Project) knowledge.
Ability to manage critical situations and escalations.
7+ years overall IT experience with 5+ years in Active Directory Administration.
