Shift: Rotating day/evening, 40 hrs/week; start either 6:30 am or 8:00 am Mon-Fri with rotating weekends 7:00 am-12:00 pm
Weekly Pay: $3,264
Job Description:
Hospital Pharmacist needed to support the facility during EMR conversion from Meditech to Epic.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and dispense medications per physician orders, including IV admixtures, chemotherapy, and parenteral nutrition.
Maintain medication stock in patient care areas.
Ensure safe, cost-effective medication therapies according to policies and protocols.
Monitor drug therapy for contraindications, interactions, allergies, and appropriateness.
Review culture & sensitivity data for antibiotic appropriateness and recommend adjustments.
Provide clinical consultation, drug information, and education to staff, patients, and families.
Document all clinical activities and interventions accurately.
Participate in quality improvement, medication review, and departmental training programs.
Serve as a member of the Code Response Team.
Qualifications:
Active CO Pharmacist License in good standing.
Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS Pharmacy degree.
BLS and ACLS certifications.
Flu vaccine required (no exemptions).
Epic EMR experience required; Meditech training a plus.
