Housekeeping Manager

Location: Caribbean (must relocate)

Compensation: USD $40,000 per annum + Housing Provided

 

About the Opportunity

We are recruiting on behalf of an exclusive luxury resort property in the Caribbean. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Housekeeping Manager to join a world-class hospitality team and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction.

 

Role Overview

The Housekeeping Manager will oversee all aspects of the housekeeping department, ensuring impeccable standards are maintained throughout the property. This leader will manage and inspire a team of housekeeping staff, coordinate with other departments, and play a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and motivate the housekeeping team to consistently deliver five-star service standards
  • Oversee daily operations of the housekeeping department, including scheduling, task assignments, and performance management
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, suites, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are met
  • Manage inventory of housekeeping supplies, linens, and amenities, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost control
  • Develop and implement housekeeping procedures, standards, and training programs
  • Collaborate closely with the Front Office, Maintenance, and Food & Beverage teams to ensure seamless operations
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve housekeeping-related complaints promptly and professionally
  • Monitor and manage departmental budgets and expenditures
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Support and uphold the property's sustainability and eco-friendly initiatives

 

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of housekeeping management experience in a luxury hotel or resort environment
  • Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for cleanliness and presentation excellence
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency in property management systems (PMS) and housekeeping software
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience working in a Caribbean or island resort environment is an advantage
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
