Industrial Painter

Industrial Painter Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $20.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm )

The Industrial Painter is responsible for properly preparing surfaces and applying paint and coatings to industrial doors and related parts. This position requires a strong focus on quality, safety, and efficiency within a manufacturing environment.

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, and performing other prep work
• Mix paint and coatings according to specifications
• Apply finishes using spray guns and other equipment Inspect completed work to ensure smooth, even coverage and correct color/finish
• Maintain accurate records and organize paperwork Clean, maintain, and store painting equipment properly
• Work with the production team to meet daily goals Identify and report defects, damage, or equipment issues
• Keep a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Exposure to paint fumes, chemicals, and industrial conditions
• PPE required at all times
• Standing for long periods; bending, kneeling, crouching frequently
• Lifting up to 50 lbs (or more with assistance)
• Manufacturing temperatures ranging from 50°F to 110°F

Industrial Painter Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Industrial painting experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of paint types, coatings, and proper surface prep
• Ability to operate spray guns and other painting tools safely
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks
• Able to work independently or as part of a team
• Basic math skills for measuring and mixing
