Associated technical degree/certification within the field OR several years of experience within the field (preferred)
Experience painting large fabricated steel, tanks, vessels, or structural steel.
Ability to perform basic sanding/grinding prep work when needed.
Comfortable working inside tank interiors (confined spaces).
Ability to follow coating specs and verify mil thickness.
Strong attendance and dependability.
Experience assisting sandblasting or metal prep teams is a plus
Ability to operate forklifts or aerial lifts is a plus
Previous work in a tank/vessel fabrication environment is a plus.
