Summary

Dedicated and nurturing assistant with experience supporting the care, safety, development of infants, toddlers, and young children. Strong communication skills when working with parents and staff, with a passion for promoting children’s emotional , social and cognitive growth. Reliable , patient, and committed to ensure ink a safe, loving, and structured setting for all children.

Duties

• Supervise and monitor the safety of infants, toddlers, and young children at all times.
• Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, toileting, dressing, and nap time.
• Support co workers with activities and age appropriate play.
• Help track attendance, meal counts, and daily reports.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
• Prepare and serve meals and snacks.
• Help children develop social, emotional, and communication skills.
• Observe and report children’s behavior and well being.
• Follow state childcare licensing rules and daycare policies.
• Support outdoor play
• Sanitize Daily toys and environments
• Respond to emergencies and follow proper safety procedures

Requirements

• HS diploma or GED
• Strong communication
• Ability to supervise multiple children
• Dependable
• Patience, reliability, nurturing
• Flexible with routines and schedule
• Dependable transportation
• Punctuality
• Background check, finger prints
• TB test
