J ob Role: Mainframe Consultant
Location : Raleigh, NC (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 Months
We are seeking a highly skilled Mainframe Consultant with strong expertise in legacy system modernization and cloud repatriation to lead and execute migration initiatives from AWS-based workloads back to enterprise Mainframe environments .
Lead end-to-end migration initiatives from AWS infrastructure to Mainframe platforms .
Assess AWS-hosted workloads and determine feasibility, migration patterns, and architecture alignment with enterprise Mainframe systems.
Design migration frameworks including re-platforming, refactoring, or re-hosting approaches .
Develop technical architecture, system integration plans, and transition strategies .
Experience with Mainframe modernization or cloud repatriation projects .
Familiarity with API integration and microservices bridging between cloud and Mainframe systems .
Experience working in financial services, banking, insurance, or large enterprise IT environments .
Knowledge of DevOps tools, monitoring frameworks, and workload schedulers .
