Medical Office Receptionist
Location:(DFW surrounding cities ) Saginaw, Arlington, Mesquite, Grapevine, Mansfield, Garland, Cedar Hill, Fort Worth | Onsite

Compensation & Schedule

• $18–$21/hour (based on experience)
• Full-time, Monday–Friday, business hours
• Start Date: ASAP

ROLE IMPACT

This role serves as the first point of contact for patients and plays a vital role in creating a positive patient experience. Success is measured by accurate patient registration, efficient appointment scheduling, and clear communication with patients and clinical staff. The Front Desk Medical Receptionist supports smooth daily operations while maintaining patient confidentiality and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a professional and friendly manner and manage front desk check-in and check-out processes.
• Schedule, confirm, and update patient appointments while maintaining accurate calendars.
• Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and collect required documentation.
• Answer multi-line phone systems, respond to patient inquiries, and route messages appropriately.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Process co-pays, payments, and basic billing information as required.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure patient flow and timely service.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in a medical front office or healthcare administrative role.
• Strong computer skills with experience using electronic medical records and scheduling systems.
• Excellent customer service skills with strong attention to detail.

• Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems
• Scheduling and patient management software
• Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Multi-line phone systems

Preferred Skills

• Experience verifying insurance and collecting co-pays.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical office environment.
