About the Job:

MOBILE PHLEBOTOMIST/MEDICAL ASSISTANT - BILINGUAL SPANISH EXAMINER FOR "PER DIEM" INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR EXAM SERVICES.
LEHIGH & NORTHAMPTON COUNTIES.

Exam One World Wide/DKN Paramedical Services, an affiliate of Quest Diagnostics, is seeking experienced phlebotomists or medical assistants to perform mobile insurance paramedical exams and specialty blood draws in the Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton areas and other surrounding towns in the 2 counties mentioned above. This role is ideal for clinicians who enjoy independent field work, flexible scheduling, and one-on-one patient interaction. This is NOT a full-time position. The position is per diem based on your availability for assignments. This per diem Independent Contractor role supports professional, accurate mobile paramedical exams and blood draws to applicants/patients in their local communities. Service fees after 30 day probation period average $25.00 to $50.00 depending on the services required. Compensation for exam services or specialty blood draws are based on a fee-per-case structure.

JOB DETAILS:

• Bilingual in Spanish required, fluent in Spanish and recording health history information in English
• Must be willing to travel to client's location for appointments. 20-mile radius from your home
• Availability required is for 1-2 weekdays from 8:30 am - 1:00 pm and 1 Saturday morning a month, other availability to schedule clients would be a plus including any afternoons or early evenings.
• Paid on a fee per case basis twice a month.
• Accurately labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, documentation of health histories, manual vital signs, and obtaining EKG's when needed (will train with our equipment).
• Call clients, schedule them, centrifuge SST, scan paperwork when finished & complete out in the portal, FedEx out all specimens.
• Current phlebotomy experience of 2 years or more, skilled in doing handsticks if needed.
• Maintain professionalism and punctuality with scheduled appointments
• Paid twice a month - no taxes are withheld as an Independent Contractor

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Reliable transportation, current Driver's License & Auto insurance.
• Must have computer with internet access, a printer to print orders and documents. Scanning with your CELL phone.
• YOU MUST SUPPLY YOUR OWN: BP cuffs ( reg. & large). Stethoscope, scale that goes to 360 lbs. or more, metal and cloth tape measure. Blood and urine kits, extra needles, and sharps container will be provided to you along with a centrifuge and EKG machine.
• MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK AND URINE DRUG SCREEN IS REQUIRED.
