Molding Machine Operator | Full-Time

We’re hiring Molding Machine Operators to support daily molding and casting production on 3rd shift . If you’ve worked with machines, tools, or in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, this is a great opportunity to grow your skills with a stable, well‑established company.

No certifications required — we provide training on molding equipment, mold setup, and defect troubleshooting.

⭐ What You’ll Do

• Set up molds, dies, and tooling for molding or casting
• Operate molding machines and monitor cycle times
• Make basic adjustments to keep production running smoothly
• Identify and correct common issues (short shots, flashing, incomplete fill, surface defects)
• Perform routine mold cleaning, lubrication, and minor maintenance
• Inspect molded parts for accuracy, quality, and consistency
• Document production runs, mold changes, and adjustments
• Communicate equipment or material concerns to your supervisor

⭐ What We’re Looking For

• Experience in injection molding, ceramic casting, or similar machine operation
• Ability to set up molds and follow alignment/clamping procedures
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort performing minor maintenance
• Ability to read work instructions and basic technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and work in a fast‑paced environment

⭐ Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Machine operation or production line experience
• Knowledge of molding defects and troubleshooting
• Experience with blow molding, plastic molding, or extrusion
• Familiarity with changeovers, mold setup, or mechanical tools

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
