Job Description

Salary: $150,000 - 170,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience with over 15 years in relevant fields
• Extensive experience in Data Center architecture and design
• Proficiency in Data Center rack and stack procedures
• Knowledge of network design in a hybrid ecosystem
• Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle and agile methodologies
• Significant experience in Infrastructure Architecture, particularly with on-premises and cloud (AWS, Azure)
• Proven ability in architecting and designing GPUs, HPC clusters, and pipelines for genomic and AI workloads
• Understanding of virtualization techniques and hypervisor operations
• MLOps and DevSecOps experience is advantageous
• Expertise in secure, scalable infrastructure for web applications and data systems
• Knowledgeable in IaaS and PaaS components for both on-premises and cloud environments
• Insight into infrastructures for distributed data systems and AI workloads
• Understanding of GPU virtualization and partitioning in both bare-metal and virtualized settings
• In-depth knowledge of network, server, and storage design in scalable, fault-tolerant models
• Experience in developing IaaS and PaaS solutions in on-premises settings
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), infra-automation, and tools like Terraform

• Lead the design and technical direction of data center operations for genomic workloads
• Architect, develop, and execute enterprise and cloud-based infrastructure solutions
• Tackle complex infrastructure challenges across on-premises and cloud environments
• Innovate solutions to enhance the operational experience for researchers
• Oversee the design and construction of data centers for advancing computing capabilities
• Conduct routine system administration, performance optimization, and troubleshooting of high availability systems
• Manage the deployment of GPU resources and implement automation strategies
• Ensure sound design practices and security compliance in data center operations
• Collaborate with diverse teams to address security, data, and application requirements
