Wolfson Children's Hospital is currently looking to add a Pediatric Physical Therapist to our Wolfson Outpatient Rehab Team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time opportunity working a Day shift schedule at our Baptist Clay campus in Fleming Island (Clay County).

 

We are looking to add an experienced Pediatric Physical Therapist to our Outpatient Team. The ideal candidate for this position will have Outpatient Hospital Pediatric experience. 

 

Pediatric Physical Therapist, Wolfson's Children Hospital, Job Responsibilities: 

  • Evaluate, plan, direct, and administer physical therapy treatment to pediatric patients.
  • Provide patient care to help improve or restore function and prevent disability.
  • Oversee support staff. 
  • Participate in departmental operations and in performance improvement activities. 
  • Maintain schedule within budget operations.
  • Participate in mandatory education and licensure requirements. 

Experience Requirements:

  • 1 or more year(s) Outpatient Pediatric Physical Therapy Experience strongly preferred

  • Orthopedics and Neuro Experience

  • Medical Surgical Nursing Experience

Education & Credential Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Physical Therapy Required
  • Licensed Physical Therapist from FL Department of Health Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association Required
