Job Description

Job Summary Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel; coordination of care provided by ancillary services. Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care. Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care. Serves as patient advocate and responsible for providing care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses.
Looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join Baptist South PCU on Night Shift
*New hires eligible for $3,750 Sign on Bonus*
As a Registered Nurse you will be Responsible for:
Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses
Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement
Educate patients and families to their disease process and plan of care
Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital
Serve as patient advocate
Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities

Education Required Associate's Degree or Equivalent Experience

Education Preferred Bachelor's Degree - Nursing

License and Certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN) Preferred
Licensed Registered Nurse Required
Experience
Less than 1 year Medical Surgical Nursing Experience
Hospital Experience
