New Jersey IEC is looking for a Remote Medical Transcriber to join our team in Somerset. This part-time position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our projects in the construction industry while working from the comfort of your home.

As a Remote Medical Transcriber, you will be responsible for accurately transcribing medical documents and reports. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that all medical records are maintained with precision and clarity, directly impacting the efficiency of our operations. Responsibilities

Transcribe medical reports, notes, and correspondence with accuracy
Review and edit transcriptions to ensure clarity and correctness
Maintain confidentiality and security of medical records
Collaborate with medical professionals to clarify any ambiguous terms
Utilize medical terminology and coding accurately in all documents
Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines
Assist in the development of transcription templates and guidelines

Requirements

Proven experience as a medical transcriber or similar role
Strong understanding of medical terminology and documentation standards
Excellent typing skills with a high level of accuracy
Proficient in using transcription software and tools
Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors
Good organizational and time-management skills
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently in a remote setting
