DUTIES:
Review proposed product changes and innovations to determine manufacturing feasibility and to then complete the necessary activities within the category to drive these changes from concept to implementation (15%). Directly lead over Internal PPAP control, Metrology, Regulatory Compliance and Energy Testing for Findlay Operations (5%). Perform the Manufacturing Lead function for all Cost and Quality Projects for dishwashers produced at Findlay Operation (5%). Lead business process improvement efforts to reduce the time required to implement changes to support Lean Manufacturing (5%). Lead cross-functional project planning (C2C, Customer to Customer Project Management) at all milestones and tollgates to ensure successful execution of changes (5%). Participate in Technical Design Previews at Project milestones and tollgates (15%). Provide thorough manufacturing assessments and input for reviews (15%). Drive effective communications between product engineering and all levels of Findlay's organization to successfully launch product changes (15%). Assist with completing business cases and resource planning for projects (2%). Serve as the Manufacturing Lead for all regulatory audits (3%). Drive resolution to any observations or findings (3%). Support WCM and lead EPI actions for the EPM Pillar (5%). Work with the Category Engineering team to update ACU Programs as changes are required (2%). Supervise seven (7) direct reports holding the titles: Energy Engineering Lab Technician, Area Coordinator, Metrology Technician, and Senior Industrial Engineering Technician (5%). Work from home permitted 2 weeks per year. Travel required within the U.S. once per month.
REQUIREMENTS :
Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related Engineering field plus 2 years of experience in the offered position or closely related occupation.
