Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Salon Manager to lead our brand-new Great Clips salon opening in April 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to build and inspire a team from the ground up while delivering exceptional customer service and driving salon performance. The ideal candidate is a licensed cosmetologist with strong leadership skills, a passion for developing stylists, and a commitment to creating a positive salon culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of stylists to achieve performance and customer service goals.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard new team members.
  • Provide ongoing training, mentorship, and performance feedback.
  • Ensure exceptional customer experience and satisfaction.
  • Manage daily salon operations, including scheduling and shift coverage.
  • Monitor productivity, sales, and key performance indicators.
  • Maintain compliance with company standards, policies, and state board regulations.
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
  • Handle customer concerns professionally and effectively.
  • Support marketing initiatives and community engagement efforts.


Requirements:

  • Active Cosmetology or Barber license (required).
  • Previous salon leadership or management experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and retain a high-performing team.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
