Job Title

SAP S/4HANA Transformation – Project Systems (PS) Consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Project Systems (PS) Consultant to support end-to-end S/4HANA transformation and implementation projects . The consultant will work under the guidance of a PS Lead or Solution Architect and contribute to configuration, testing, data migration support, and post–go-live stabilization of project-based business processes .

This role focuses on hands-on functional delivery across Project-to-Cash (P2C), project costing, and integration with Finance and Logistics, aligned with SAP S/4HANA best practices.

Key Responsibilities

SAP PS Configuration & Support

• Configure and support SAP S/4HANA Project Systems including:
• Project structures (WBS, Networks, Activities)
• Cost Planning and Budgeting
• Availability Control
• Project Settlement and Results Analysis
• Support Project-to-Cash (P2C) and Project-to-Result processes.

S/4HANA Transformation Support

• Support ECC to S/4HANA conversion or greenfield implementations.
• Apply S/4HANA PS simplifications and best practices.
• Assist in Fit-to-Standard (F2S) workshops and requirement clarification.

Integration & Collaboration

• Work closely with FI, CO, MM, SD, PM, and HR teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Support integration with Procurement, Billing, and Financial Accounting .
• Coordinate with technical teams (ABAP, interfaces) on RICEFW objects impacting PS.

Testing & Data Migration

• Prepare and execute unit testing and SIT test cases for PS scenarios.
• Support UAT , resolve functional defects, and provide clarifications to business users.
• Assist with data migration validation for projects, WBS elements, budgets, and open transactions.

Go-Live & Hypercare

• Support cutover activities for open projects and financial balances.
• Provide hypercare support , troubleshooting PS-related issues.
• Document issues, resolutions, and process changes.

Documentation & Methodology

• Prepare and maintain:
• Functional specifications
• Configuration documents
• Test scripts and user guides
• Follow SAP Activate methodology and project documentation standards.

Required Skills & Experience

SAP PS Expertise

• 5–8 years of SAP functional experience in SAP Project Systems .
• At least one full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation or conversion project .
• Strong understanding of project costing, budgeting, and settlement .

S/4HANA & Finance Integration

• Hands-on experience with:
• PS–FI/CO integration
• Universal Journal (basic understanding)
• Results Analysis
• Exposure to Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) is a plus.

Knowledge on LeanIX, Signavio for process flow preparation and discussion with business team, is an added advantage

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP S/4HANA or SAP PS certification
• Experience with SAP Activate methodology
• Industry exposure to Engineering, EPC, Construction, Energy, or Professional Services
• Exposure to SAP EPPM / PPM is an advantage

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication and documentation abilities
• Ability to work effectively in onshore–offshore delivery models
• Willingness to learn and adapt to S/4HANA innovations

Location & Work Model

• Location: As per project needs
• Work Model: Hybrid / Onsite / Offshore (project dependent)
