The Security Officer is responsible for the oversight of the safety and security of the hotel guests and employees. This person will follow safety and security standards and complete incident reports as required. At the Hyatt Place Fremont, we are committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and exceptional experience for every guest and colleague. As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure and peaceful environment across the hotel property. This includes ensuring the safety of guests, colleagues, and property assets while delivering excellent customer service in line with Hyatt standards. THIS IS AN OVERNIGHT POSITION ONLY.
Qualifications

A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
Refined verbal and written communication skills
Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances
Proficient in basic computer skills
Previous security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred; hotel or hospitality experience is a plus
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism
Availability to work the main overnight shift 4-5 days a week from 10pm - 6am on any day, including holidays and weekends.
