Job Title: Senior SAP Security Specialist

Location: Omaha, NE ( onsite 5 day a week)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Security Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP security design and architecture, with a strong background in SAP systems, identity management, and security solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP vulnerability assessment, system monitoring, and compliance with information security policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement security solutions within SAP environments.

  • Manage and control user access by integrating SAP systems, identity management, and auditing tools.

  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and manage threat detection and response within SAP systems.

  • Collaborate with SAP BASIS and development teams to ensure timely patch implementations and secure code deployments.

  • Monitor and perform SOX controls related to SAP security and GRC.

  • Document security policies, processes, and incidents, ensuring alignment with organizational security controls.

  • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to drive high-quality deliverables.

  • Engage in continuous improvement by applying agile development methodologies.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience Level: Subject Matter Expert (SME), 15+ years in SAP Security and GRC

  • Previous experience in SAP security design and architecture and/or BASIS or development roles.

  • Proficient in SAP systems, modules, and integration points.

  • Strong knowledge of SAP vulnerability management, system monitoring, SIEM, threat management, and encryption.

  • Expertise in Segregation of Duties (SOD) analysis, sensitive transactions analysis, and SAP development (including ABAP).

  • Understanding of RFC connections, Fiori, and Workzone security.

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Strong communication and analytical skills.

Good-to-Have Qualifications:

  • CISSP or other security certifications, SAP security certification.

  • Knowledge of agile development methodology.

Desired Profile:

  • Expertise in SAP architecture, role management, access control, and authorization objects.

  • Strong culture of delivering projects with first-time right/zero defects in production.

The base salary for this position is $109,749 to $160,000 plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies. Benefits available to eligible employees in this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, comprehensive employee assistance program, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off and holidays and paid learning days.
