LEGAL ASSISTANT I.
Entry Level Annual Salary for this position is $34,350.00 and includes a comparative area deferential.
THIS IS AN AT WILL POSITION.

This position is responsible for a wide variety of office duties including: maintaining files, setting meetings, processing a high volume of mail, and addressing any attorney requests. Applicants should possess knowledge of legal terminology and be able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. An applicant must be detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks, work under pressure and adapt to changing situations as well as exhibit a willingness to perform other tasks as assigned. The successful candidate will be ready to work as part of a team and also be capable of independent judgment.
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Standard high school diploma or equivalency and 2 years secretarial experience; an equivalent combination of both can be substituted for required experience. Legal secretarial experience is preferred.
Additionally, applicant must possess a valid Florida driver’s license and demonstrate the ability to type and enter data accurately.
Physical Demands: This position requires normal pushing, lifting and moving of boxes and files.
