You will review accreditation packages, track systems through the NATO security accreditation process, validate implementation of required security measures, and support coordination with developers, service providers, and other stakeholders in a multinational environment. This role directly supports mission assurance for operational systems and applications within ACT.

  • Review security accreditation documentation and make recommendations for approval.
  • Assess accreditation artifacts including CIS Descriptions, Risk Assessment Results, System-Specific Security Requirements Statements, Security Operating Procedures, Security Test & Validation Plans, Security Test & Validation Results, and Incident Reports.
  • Ensure verification activities are properly executed to confirm agreed security measures have been implemented.
  • Provide support and guidance to CIS developers and service providers, including teams based in Europe.
  • Contribute to updates of ACT CIS security risk statements.
  • Liaise with stakeholders involved in the security accreditation process.
  • Represent the ACT Security Accreditation Authority in NATO Enterprise meetings, either in person or via VTC.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in CIS security, CIS development, or CIS service delivery.
  • Within that experience, at least 3 years of demonstrated experience working in or directly supporting national, international, or multinational CIS security accreditation, certification, or a similar field.
  • 3- or 4-year university degree, or equivalent national academic qualification, in computer science, network security, cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Recognized certification in CIS security or cyber defence disciplines, such as CISSP, GIAC Security Expert, or ISACA CISM.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and review technical documentation for audiences with varying levels of technical knowledge.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly convey information to senior leadership.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Project, MS Teams, and SharePoint.
  • English proficiency.
  • Citizen of a NATO member nation with a valid NATO nation passport and no travel restrictions to NATO nations.
  • Active NATO or National SECRET security clearance (or higher).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting security accreditation in a NATO, defence, or other multinational environment.
  • Experience coordinating with distributed technical teams and service providers across multiple locations.
  • Familiarity with NATO security accreditation processes, documentation, and governance.
  • Experience supporting operational systems or applications in secure enterprise environments.
