What You’ll Do:
Safely and confidently restrain dogs (including large breeds) and cats, even the more “spirited” ones.
Assist in the pharmacy, including preparing medications and knowing common veterinary drugs.
Keep the clinic organized, clean, and running smoothly.
Arrive on time and be dependable—our patients (and team!) count on you.
Be open to jumping in and helping with other tasks as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience working with animals in a veterinary setting for 1-2 years preferred.
Ideally enrolled in a Veterinary Technician program.
Comfortable handling animals of all sizes and temperaments.
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
A team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
You should be comfortable working around the occasional strong odors and noises that come with caring for animals. The role may also involve exposure to bites, scratches, animal waste, and some contagious conditions—but we provide training and safety precautions to keep you protected.
*Cross-trained to provide coverage for reception and pharmacy shifts.
Pay Range: $20 to $28/hr depending on experience.
