You start your shift with a quick walk-through of the production floor. Preventive tasks are queued, parts are on hand, and the maintenance log shows a few items needing attention. You run through scheduled checks, listen for unusual vibrations, and review PLC readouts to confirm systems are running smoothly. Mid-morning, you’re called to troubleshoot a hydraulic leak—within minutes, you isolate the issue, replace a worn seal, and bring the line back to full operation. After lunch, you help set and align a new piece of equipment, documenting the install and updating PM procedures to keep downtime low. Before you clock out, you tidy the workspace, close out digital work orders, and coordinate with operators on process improvements for the next run.
