Summary

Join our vibrant aquatic team as a Full Time Lifeguard, where your energetic presence ensures a safe, enjoyable environment for all pool visitors. In this dynamic role, you will monitor pool activities, enforce safety rules, and provide exceptional guest services. We need lifeguards at multiple Tuckaway locations in the Richmond area. Your vigilance and quick response skills will help prevent accidents and promote a fun, secure atmosphere for swimmers of all ages. Duties

  • constantly observe pool areas to identify potential safety hazards and respond swiftly to emergencies
  • Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff
  • Perform routine pool maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, skimming debris, and ensuring water clarity
  • Provide first aid and CPR assistance in the event of injuries or medical emergencies
  • Assist guests with pool access, answer questions, and deliver friendly guest services to enhance their experience
  • Conduct regular pool cleaning and chemical checks to uphold health standards
  • Carry out heavy lifting when necessary for pool equipment maintenance or setup

Requirements

  • Prior lifeguard experience is preferred but not mandatory; relevant training will be provided
  • Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and First Aid is required or obtainable upon hire
  • Knowledge of pool maintenance, cleaning procedures, and safety protocols is advantageous
  • Ability to swim confidently and perform water rescues effectively
  • Comfortable performing heavy lifting related to pool equipment or maintenance tasks
  • Strong communication skills with a proactive approach to guest service and safety enforcement

Benefits
