Job Description

Water Tank Build Laborer $18-$20/hr (Weekly Pay)

Job Description

This is an entry-level position requiring a commitment to working 12-14 hour days for anywhere from 5-7 days a week, starting between 5 a.m. and 7 a.m., and ending around 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Liner Technicians are responsible for the general upkeep of well locations, performing mechanical repairs on equipment, threading pipes, and mechanical hookups with pumps and valves. The role involves general labor duties at well sites.

Key Responsibilities

Tank Assembly & Installation

  • Assemble and erect large above‑ground water storage tanks (ASTs), including rings, sidewalls, liner systems, and associated components.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and lifting/rigging equipment for safe assembly.
  • Use a ladder to pull liner.
  • Prepare tank pads, level ground, and assist with site layout and staging.
  • Install tank liners, anchors, hoses, fittings, and related hardware.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in the energy industry is a plus.
  • Heavy travel could be anywhere from 2 weeks a month to more or could be less.
  • Must have steel toes and some form of FR clothing or willing to obtain it.

Required

  • 1+ years of oil & gas, water transfer, or construction experience (or willingness to learn).
  • Comfortable with heights & being up on a ladder.
  • Ability to work long hours, days/nights, weekends, and in adverse weather.
  • Physical ability to lift 50–100 lbs., climb, bend, and work at heights.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and basic tool knowledge.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
