Job Description

Connect Staffing is hiring an experienced Powder Coater for a manufacturing company in Santa Ana, CA. This is a temp-to-hire position paying $22.00/hr with weekly overtime of approximately 3 hours. In this role, you will apply powder coating and industrial paint to metal parts using spray equipment inside a paint booth, and prepare surfaces through cleaning, sanding, masking, or blasting before coating. This is a Monday–Friday schedule with consistent hours and a long-term placement opportunity.

Schedule:Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm

Responsibilities

• Hang, rack, and remove metal parts from the production line before and after coating.
• Operate spray equipment inside a paint booth to apply powder coating or industrial paint to metal parts and components.
• Inspect finished parts for proper coverage, thickness, and adherence to quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety and PPE procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• 1+ year of powder coating or industrial painting experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with both powder coating and liquid/industrial paint application.
• Familiarity with surface preparation methods including sandblasting, sanding, and masking.
• Experience working in a production paint booth environment with PPE.
• Background in metal fabrication, automotive finishing, or industrial manufacturing.
• Ability to read and follow work orders or quality inspection checklists.
